Welcome to Astronautics Institute

Preparing the next generation of spacecraft technicians

We are a dedicated team of FAA-licensed professionals with deep experience in creating and managing FAA Part 147 aircraft maintenance technician schools. Now, we’re taking that expertise into the future--by launching a nonprofit training facility focused on training technicians for the construction and operation of vehicles for travel in space beyond the Earth's atmosphere..

OUR MISSION

To prepare the next generation of spacecraft technicians through specialized, hands-on training tailored to the evolving needs of the commercial space industry.

As the private aerospace sector accelerates beyond the Earth’s atmosphere, so does the demand for highly skilled professionals who understand the unique challenges of spacecraft manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance. This project exists to meet that demand—and to shape a training pipeline that’s responsive, forward-thinking, and industry-driven.

WHY US?

We're not just here to inform—we’re here to listen.

This site is a platform to connect with aerospace companies, suppliers, and innovators. We want to better understand your technical needs, workforce challenges, and future priorities so we can align our training programs accordingly.

Traditional FAA-approved schools often focus on general aviation due to limitations in cost, curriculum, and infrastructure. With your input and support, we aim to offer something different: a program designed from the ground up for spacecraft systems, while also exploring whether Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification tracks should be included based on industry demand.

Our Team.
